BOTCO Tree Service is a division of the Botolino Home Improvement Company. First established in North Cambridge - Rindge Ave., circa 1958 by the late Richard Botolino. Originally operated as an exterior home improvement company, the Botolino Company engaged in roofing, siding, gutters, windows, etc. Richard moved to and settled in Melrose, MA in the mid-60's, with his wife Joanna, and 3 sons, Greg, Ricky and David, who joined the family business after completing their education.
In the late 80's, David saw the need to add tree services to our home improvement business. Throughout the 90's, the company engaged in small and medium level tree jobs through climbing and rented trucks and equipment as needed, while maintaining the home improvement business. In January of 2000, Richard Sr. incorporated the business, shortening the name from Botolino Company to BOTCO. With the unfortunate passing of Richard Sr. in June of 2002, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, David gained full control of the company.
In September 2002, Botco purchased a farm property on the Haverhill / Merrimac line to accommodate the growing tree business and operations.
Botco Tree Service has progressively sought to acquire a variety of tree trucks and equipment to engage in all types of tree-related jobs. From large and difficult crane removals to small ornamental tree pruning, whatever your needs are, we can do it!
